Pedal effort on these kits is about the same as a Stage 2 kit, Slightly firmer than stock and very comfortable.
Our single lightweight rigid center drive hub and 215mm lightweight low MOI sintered ceramic/bronze disks reduces total disk inertia VS having 2-3 disk with drive hubs singularly attached to the disk.
Full floating disk V Drive style kits are meant for quick shifts at high RPMS and will release the disks well at all RPM levels for clean, accurate high rpm shifts.
Due to the full floating/rigid disk design, these clutches rattle with pedal pushed in at idle and under 2500rpm acceleration.
V drive style clutches do not have “straps” holding the pressure plate drive plate to the cover so no chance of strap failure on hard down or up shifts. The floater plates lock into the cover for optimum durability in the racing environment.
Unlike some race clutches that are completely on-off type, these are able to be modulated to a point for low speed maneuverability, they do have a short engagement window however if you are adamant about slowly releasing the pedal you can move around at low speeds without much trouble.
The ZSpeed Nissan 370Z 350Z Infiniti G35 G37 Q60 Race Clutch and Flywheel set comes with a Custom Reduced Stroke CMAK RS V3 “Clutch movement alteration kit” this completely replaces the internal type OEM plastic CSC and replaces it with an external heavy duty style steel, dual seal slave cylinder to the outside of the trans for easy replacement if ever needed.
This clutch can be installed and immediately put on the dyno or be raced on, no break in needed.
